Build description

The JUGGERNAUT
Stamina Dragon Knight, Nord race (for survivability and stamina), 5 Heavy armor pieces / 2 Medium armor pieces.
First bar: Two handed AXE
Second bar: One Hand and Shield (S&B)
MIX DPS/TANK. Solo PVP focus.
Mundusstone: The Warrior
Not covering champion points, which however should be focused equally on enhancing damage potential and survivability.

Overall, the Juggernaut offers a great and dynamic experience in PVP, being capable of resisting massive assaults while dealing good amount of damage. However, the spec is meant for never dying while pushing with your many powerful DoTs, many of which cannot be directly recognized from the spec abilities.

The sets are:
5 pieces of Sheer Venom (medium). Mandatory dot generator for the spec. It increases weapon damage and, more importantly, gives you the 6 seconds powerful poison DoT with the execute ability (Executioner in this case)
5 pieces of Leeching Plate (heavy). Boosts your health regen and gives a damage-induced dot, which means you may generate an area dot for taking damage.
Remaining pieces at player’s choice.

For dealing DAMAGE: The Juggernaut mostly counts on its poison DoTs, two directly applicable DotS (Executioner through your Sheer Venoms set and Noxious Breath) and two “possible” DoTS, that may not pop up immediately, meaning not castable DoTs (the poison area DoT from Leeching Plate and the DoT coming from Heavy Weapons passive). This means you may potentially apply 4 different DoTs on a target, which means literally melting your foe. The poison DoT damage synergizes excellently with DK also thanks to the Combustion passive from the Ardent Flame tree.
Corrosive Armor ultimate can further strongly enhance your damage with another powerful dot, which would be our fifth DoT.

Your main single target spammable is Dizzying Swing, which has good burst and decent crowd control potential (by setting off, stunning or snaring target). You may go with Stone Giant ability instead. However, the ability seems to have a lower dps potential and it’s better meant for those players fearing to stick in the core of the fight, since 3 on 4 casts are ranged, while, on the other hand, the great survivability of the Juggernaut permits you to take great punishment in the fray while applying your dots.

For HEALING: 1) Rally: great 20% damage buff and healing overtime plus good healing burst if used when expiring; 2) Resolving Vigor: your main spammable short overtime healing. These two abilities synergize with Igneous Shield, which considerably boosts the healing received through Major Mending.

For DENFECE: In addition to the abovementioned healing abilities, the Juggernauts benefits from the great survivability offered by 5 heavy armor pieces, Dracon Powers and S&B passives and shield generation abilities, namely, Igneous Shield, Hardened Armor, Shielded Assault (which we also use in PVP to chase kiting, escaping or distant targets). Furthermore, Dragon Fire Scale significantly enhances your defence against casters, becoming virtually invulnerable to them for 6 seconds while returning some fire damage.
Last but not least, your ultimate abilities, which may return on cast an enormous amount of health, magika and stamina (Battle Roar passive). The Heroic Slash ability is meant to further enhance the ultimate generation.
When you pop up your Corrosive Armor ultimate you basically enter in god-mode.

Alternatives: you may trade your
- Igneous Shield or Dragon Fire Scale with Cinder Storm, which provides an enormous snare effect and good healing over time. It’s better meant for static situations. Green Dragon Blood is also an excellent suitable alternative, also due to its stamina regeneration.
- Take Flight ultimate with Flawless Dawnbreaker. However, your Dots (also on short duration) are still very strong and you may not need another one. Furthermore, the Take Flight is a good distance gap filler which provides good area damage and stun + knock back at a good ultimate cost.
- Executioner with Brawler, strictly for AoE situations when you are overwhelmed by more enemies you can count.
