Rotation:
--Primary damage = primary healing--
The Primary damage output is generated by geroic slash. For this i use the canceled animation combo of a light or heavy attack followed by heroic slash followed by a bash with the shield. This stuff needs a a little practise. If you mastered it, you can cast all 3 attacks in around 1 second. To increase the damage of the skills i use critical surge and/or rally to increase my weapon damage value what scales the values of abilities.
The primary incoming healing is granted by critical surge. To use this buff as effectively as possible i use B&S because on 3 attacks in around 1 second i dont need that much chance of critical hits to heal myself. On average min. 1 attack hits critically and so it heals you at least one time per combo (once per 1,5 seconds on average).
Vigor is also nice to have on the main bar and should be casted when health is lower than around 75%. It complements well to critical surge and there is no weapon switch needed so i can go on dealing damage and stress my enemy. Rally is just needed for fails (when my health droped under 50%), but should be recasted regtulary.
--Buffs--
In relation to rally and recasting i will explain the buff rotation next. All buffs are placed on the secundary bar and the buffs have a min time of 23 seconds. As a result it is sencefull to recast all buffs (rally, shuffle, crit surge, boundless storm) every 20 - 25 seconds. So i reduced the count of weapon shifts to minimum of 1 time per 20-25 seconds. (Out of the cases when i need rally really quickly or when it is time to execute.) Use a dodge role here if needed to avoid some incoming damage. (It is possible to cast buffs within the dodge role.)
Why i use this 4 buffs?
I already explained the necessity of rally and critical surge for this build and rotation.
Shuffle is one the strongest stamina based buffs ingame. For stamina sorcs that don't have any good other defensive abillity shuffle is even more important. (Grants 20% dodge chance and removes slows for 5 seconds btw.)
Boundless storm is usefull because it costs magicka (that i don't need for anything else for this build), it grants the bigger buffs for spell and physical resistance and gives me 30% movement speed for 7,5 seconds. That's very helpful to avoid incoming damage, especially upper cuts, flame lashes etc. (It is not helpful to block too much, so i use movement). Awesome as hell is the fact that i can "uncloack" nightblades in close combat using boundless storm!
--Stuns, negative effekts & how to stay in close combat range--
There are 3 important points you need to know about close combat stamina based sorc:
1. If an enemy is out of range you cant heal --> if the enemy can stun and deal damage in range combat you will get in trouble.
2. Using B&S does NOT make you a burst killer machine. (It's not a two-handed weapon or similar to streaming damage dealed by nightblades or magicka sorcerers)
So i aim on fighting in close combat range, stress my enemy (bring him out of stamina or primary resource, stuns on cooldown if helpful etc.).
To stay in range i use invasion that also is a stun. To be safe when an magicka based enemy outranged me i use the relfect and then i use invasion. To make the damage i deal more efficient i use reverb bash to have a close combat ranged stun and reducing the enemies damage. To be a bit more tanky and to stay in range heroic slash reduces the enemies damage by 15% and slows the enemy by 60% -> not purgable because i spam it.
--Attronarch--
If you think you have a bit too less offensive or defensive --> attronarch rules! In both cases i recommend using attronarch. It stresses the enemy a bit more by dealing more damage to him. It maqkes you more offensive if the enemy still goes on dealing damage or it makes your more defensive when the enemy needs to save his ass ^^ (because then he dont deal damahe anymore) --> DO NOT RELY ON ATTRO AS ULTIMATE LIKE MAGMA ARMOR OR TEMPLERS HEAL ULTI! Attro is weaker than this ones. Attro just can balance your weaknesses (offensive or defensive stuff), but it does not save your ass!
Atm attro is also needed to grant 20% stamina regeneration by the sorcs passive ability.
--Kill an enemy--
The facts above explain how to stay, survive and stress your enemy. The final question is: How to kill an enemy then? Easy --> stress your enemy to death by insane pressure or drop him to 40% health and executioner! It's still posiible to resist ofc. For this there is the Werewolf :D
