The way i use it is pre-buff in backbar, then open front with destructive impact followed by the two first DoT's (Searing and Breath). Then you can put the Aoe's and crushing as spammable. I used Crushing for its interupting (for when you need quickly, for example, Selene at Maarselok), but force pulse should work better since it's for trash.
