Welcome to the "Blood Drinker" build!
This is a thematic end-game tanking build made for the templar class in combination with being a vampire. The templar class is an amazing and easy to use class, but personally there are three things that I have always missed in the templar class when it comes to tanking: crowd-control, burst/percentage based healing and a "I am immortal now" button.
Luckily, the vampire skills provide exactly what we need. What is even better is that the templar passive 'Restoring Spirit' basically negates all the negatives from the vampire passives.
'Crimson Twilight' is here to provide some additional burst healing, especially in add-packs. And 'Saxhleel Champion' gives us some extra mitigation and makes it so you don't have to feel bad about using your vampire ult to live the dream of a terrifying immortal vampire lord. ‘Bloodlord’s Embrace’ gives you your magicka back incredibly quickly, allowing you to spam your ‘Exhilarating Drain’ for ridiculous heals and some extra ult-regen. And finally Bloodspawn helps to bridge the gap to capped resistances and gives us even more ult-regen!
