Description du build

a Copy from kevduit's build on http://www.kevduit.com/eso-guides/the-murder-doctor/

The Murder Doctor is a heavy damage reliant build that focuses on the usage of the set, Unfathomable Darkness, in order to keep pressure on enemy players. It also makes you sound like a super nerd fan of medieval ages, so that’s cool too I suppose.

Race:
Redguard: Best Sustain for a Stamina DPS Class
Wood Elf: Great Bow damage from Stealth and decent sustain
Sets:
Unfathomable Darkness Armor:
This is the primary set of the Murder Doctor build.
Spriggan’s Jewelry + Weapons (Axe & Dagger + Bow):
This is the sets main source of damage.
1 pc Medium Velidreth Shoulders:
Velidreth, Molag Kena, or Balorgh’s are all GREAT sources of an immediate weapon damage boost. I prefer shoulders in medium, personally, just because these Monster sets are DLC acquired sets, so it’s easiest just to roll for them.
1 pc Heavy Kra’ghs Helmet:
Yes, Heavy. I know a couple people may complain about not run full 7 Medium, but I always prefer 1 Heavy, for a tad bit more TANKY POWER.

Technique:
With this build, you need to understand that your crows from Unfathom will not always be up, so to apply pressure using your incredibly high weapon damage UNTIL the crow Calvary arrives. Unless, of course, they arrive early, in which case you may make like a pig and go ham.
Alright, buff up using Shuffle and Relentless focus.
SO, remember that my builds rely heavily on a powerful first punch using your bow, and then a grand ganking entrance with dual wield. Your first three attacks need to be within a split second of each other, allowing for an INCREDIBLY painful first hit. Those abilities are: Focused Aim, Light Attack, to Poison Injection. This is when you apply the piercing mark to your target, and dive at them with Ambush. Ambush SUPER buffs your next light attack, so that’s exactly what you’ll do. Once your light attack strikes, flow it straight into a surprise attack.
This is your main attack rotation, as to which you will THEN need to learn HOW to play this effectively AFTER this point. Your crows may or may not have proc’d yet, so you need to continue to attack heavily. Make good use of Shadowy Disguise, as you go into and out of the shadows, with many surprise attacks weaved throughout. The reason to strike your enemy with a surprise attack FROM your shadowy disguise, is because shadowy guarantees your next attack will be a critical strike.
If your enemy seems to be quite in your face, back off a slight bit, but continue to apply long distance pressure using focused aim the moment you enter a shadowy, or poison injections to keep up poison pressure. If your enemy is struggling, make sure that you stay on top of them, with occasional roll dodges to confuse them with your position, and as MANY Incaps as you can get in during your fight (which should only be around 1 or 2. If you fit in more, you’re either fighting a tank OR your damage isn’t going to be enough to take them down). Always remember your buffs, keep them active, and if your enemy enters the 50% health phase, hit them with a poison injection. If they enter the 25% range, REMEMBER to hit them with combo’s like: Killer’s Blade, light attack, bar swap, poison injection, light attack, bar swap, killer’s blade.
If YOU were the one ganked in this situation, although your health is low, fear not, you can still turn the fight around. Using unfathom, the crows apply a pressure to your enemy which will make them stutter or try to dodge around. If they aren’t a glass canon and DON’T succeed to kill you with their first burst, you need to immediately roll dodge weave your buffs. Meaning: Roll Dodge, Vigor, Roll dodge, shuffle, roll dodge, relentless, etc. Make sure you don’t roll dodge ALL your stamina away, and continue to use Shadowy to kite around your enemy while you get back on your feet. It’s not easy to recover from a quick and powerful gank, but if you play it right, you’ll bounce back within seconds. Make sure that you apply a DOT (Damage over time) ability on your enemy, to give a slight chance that your crows will proc and give you some breathing space while recovering.
Conclusion:
So, you’ve made it to the point in the post where you ask the question, “But WHY would I go with this build when I COULD just go with a glass canon???” Well, NERD, it’s simple. It’s more fun. My builds aren’t meant for you to go out there and just fry people. If you want that, the combo is Hunding’s Rage, Spriggan’s, and Balorgh’s. Easy as that. THESE builds, on the other hand, are meant to confuse your enemies, to bring something new to the table for them to try and figure out.
The Murder Doctor is a build about understanding WHEN your proc’s are unleashed, and how to properly perform until that point. It still deals a massive amount of damage, and give you the opportunity to tease your enemy with pressure AS you beat the living tar out of them. Just remember that every good gank start with the burst-iest explosion of destruction, and THEN you head in full force.
