Build description

This is my Dual-Wield and 2h entry build for the Stamina Nightblade. There are two versions of this build, DW/2h & the other is 2H/Bow. In this version I'll show you the basic skill setup along with bar placement of these skills in order to make bar switching much easier for new players or anyone in general.

Armor, Weapons, & Mundus
----------------------------------------

5-Piece Hundings
2-Piece Ashen Grip
Warrior Mundus Stone

This is going to maximize your weapon damage, while complimenting your health. If you can, make sure your small armor pieces are Divines and the large pieces are Infused. If not, Impenetrable & Reinforced are decent replacements. Also make sure your larger pieces are Heavy Armor as they will provide the largest armor gain. You can also go 7-pieces medium armor if you'd like, but you'll also be eliminating the Heavy Armor Passives from your pool.

Primary armor enchant:
- STAMINA

You'll want all your weapons to be Ashen Grip. This will allow you to keep some set bonuses while bar switching. For the 2H maces are the preferred choice as this will grant you a large Armor Penetration bonus through the 2H passive. The DW weapons can be either swords or maces.

2H (Sharpened, Infused, Precise)
- Weapon Damage, Unresistable, Crushing, Poison/Disease, Shock

DW (Sharpened, Infused, Precise)
- Weapon Damage & Disease/poison
- Weapon Damage & Unresistable/Crushing
- Poison & Disease
- Shock & Fire

Remember to use 2 DIFFERENT enchants on your DW weapons to avoid cooldown issues! Sharpened is the preferred trait but Infused and Precise are viable options.

Skills & Bar setup
-------------------------

The bar setup is a very crucial part of this build. As you can see ESO gives you 5 skill slots and one Ultimate slot. On PC the skills are numbered 1-5, left to right. For CONSOLE, this will translate to button symbols instead of numbers, left to right.

PC - 1,2,3,4,5, Ultimate
Console - SQUARE, TRIANGLE, CIRCLE, L1, R1, Ultimate

All my builds are focused towards Console so lets get into the bar setup and bar switch combos you need to become familiar with...

DPS BAR - Cloak, Ambush, Vigor, Killer's Blade, Surprise Attack, Incapacitating Strike
2nd BAR - Aspect of Terror, Piercing Mark, Rally, Rapid Maneuver, Shade, Soul Tether

This bar setup will allow you to effectively switch bars and use corresponding skills with a reduced hesitation and error.
For instance Ambush and Mark Target are both slotted on TRIANGLE. This will allow you to quickly mark your target, switch bars, then Ambush without moving your finger off of the TRIANGLE button. Vigor and Rally are the both on CIRCLE in order to give you the biggest available heal through bar switching. Vigor, bar switch, Rally, bar switch. This would translate to CIRCLE, bar switch, CIRCLE, bar switch. If you find yourself CC'd before you can complete the transition, Aspect of Terror - bar switch - cloak.

Again, if your on console I HIGHLY recommend this bar setup to maximize efficiency and minimize error.

Practice dodge roll cancelling with Aspect of Terror. This is a great combo that will throw off enemies if need be.
To perform this combo simply press SQUARE, then quick press Dodge Roll. When you get the timing down your character will cast Aspect of Terror in the middle of a dodge roll.

Heavy attack weaving with Surprise attack is your main DPS combo. When you charge a Heavy Attack, and your character brings the weapon all the way behind them, quickly tap R1. This will eliminate the second portion of the Heavy Attack and you will see your character hit with two skills back to back. Hold R2, tap R1

Champion Points
------------------------

The most important tree for a stamina build is The Ritual, under the Mage section. Dump all your points into Mighty. Once you hit 10%, you can start putting points into Precise Strikes and/or Piercing. Thaumaturge will be after 10% Mighty on the bow build version.

Warlord is take priority in the Green section. Once 10% cost reduction is achieved , Mooncalf will be next, then Tumbling. This can be varied depending on your chosen race. For instance as a Bosmer, I already have a good amount of natural regen. Cost reduction will boost the efficiency of this regen, that's why Warlord takes priority over Mooncalf. If your a race that has ZERO regen, Imperial/Orc, you'll want to split your points between both Mooncalf and Warlord.

In the Warrior Section, The Lady constellation is the most important. Dump all your points into Hardy. Once 15% is achieved you can start dumping into Elemental Defender. Medium Armor focus or thick skinned is a good place to put remaining points, but not to exceed 5%. Quick Recovery is also a great choice for remaining points!

This concludes my DW/2H build for the Stamblade. I hope this helps new and/or returning players, especially those on console! If this you've enjoyed this build please check out my YouTube and Twitch channels for more content!
